Yes, Edwards is a former pro-bowler in his own right, but in recent years his playing ability has diminished significantly. He has been known to drop passes that should be caught and overall there are a lot of question marks surrounding him.
Mark Sanchez now will have to connect with Edwards and form some type of chemistry with him. Sanchez has performed well in the Jets offense and throwing Edwards opposite Jerricho Cotchery looks good on paper, I don't think it will play out on the field.
