Edwards, who had a very productive postseason for the Vikings with four sacks, received a first-round tender from the organization back in March, but wants to hold off on signing that tender in hopes that another team signs him to an offer sheet.
If Edwards does end up signing the first-round tender from the Vikings, he will make $2.5 million dollars in the 2010 season.
The Vikings will start their offseason workout program on Monday at Winter Park, the team's facility in Eden Prairie, MN.
