... is wrong with Pittsburgh’s defense, you say?  Statistically speaking:  nothing. 

 

The Steelers are fifth in the NFL in total defense allowed, third in rushing yards allowed (a stingy 61.5 per game).  Even the pass defense, which at times has been carved up, is 15th in the league. 

 

And while it seems as though Pittsburgh has given up a lot of points, it’s only been 19.5 per game, 12th best in the NFL.
