Unga, BYU’s all-time leading rusher, was selected by the Chicago Bears with the 12th pick in the seventh round . The Eagles pick in the seventh round was after the Bears, so I have no idea whether they put a bid in for Unga. But it also means the Birds thought little enough of Unga to not give up their sixth-round pick in the 2011 draft to select him.
