... alt="">Although it is not allowed for teams to speak to other teams regarding trades for players in a formal sense, it seems that Dave "Softy" Mahler of KJR 950 AM in Seattle is reporting that a source has informed him that the Seattle Seahawks intend to offer a first and third round draft compensation for Kevin Kolb's services.

This conflicts with recent reports that the Eagles would rather have a current player as opposed to future draft compensation. 

Keep in mind the wheeling and dealing nature of the Eagles administration when digesting this information, because an extra first round pick could be traded for a position of need if the Eagles feel a player is worth the loss of a high draft pick....
