... Rankings have been released today. What is it you ask? Well, I have put together a BCS standings formula NFL style, with a similar twist to how the college polls use it.

The goal would be to get the BCS rankings out every week if this becomes successful, so here is the breakdown of my formula.

I am using two things to decide the rankings: one is the rankings that ESPN, Sports Illustrated, CBS Sports, and AOL Fan House have put out this week. The rankings from these sites do consider the strength of schedule, thus why that is not calculated into the formula.

The BCS numbers will be decided by this formula: Number of sites (4) divided total number (number from all four sites combined)
