Police have classified his death as a homicide, but have not yet announced a classification on the death of the female victim found with him, 20-year-old Sahel Kazemi.

Metro police spokesman Don Aaron said at a 2 p.m. CDT press conference Sunday that McNair was shot twice in the head and twice in the chest, and Kazemi was shot once in the head.

A semiautomatic pistol was found underneath Kazemi's body, but not until investigators were preparing to move the bodies several hours after they were discovered.
