Team owner Mike Brown said, "We are stunned and saddened to learn of Vikki's passing.  She was a warm and popular person in the Bengals family, and our immense respect and affection for Mike makes this especially hard.  Our hearts go out to Mike and his family."

When you spend as much time together as athletes and coaches do, you become very close.  This tragedy will weigh heavily on the hearts of every member of the Bengals family.

It is not known whether or not Zimmer will coach on Sunday when the Bengals play the Ravens in Baltimore.
