I always wait until the last round to draft a kicker so I was stunned to find out that not only were there five Kickers (Garrett Hartley, Nate Kaeding, Mason Crosby, Rob Bironas, and Ryan Longwell) going in the 12th round, but Stephen Gostkowski was actually going, on average, with the last pick in the 11th round.
That is staggering to me. A typical fantasy league starting lineup consists of 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 DEF. If you are taking a kicker in the 12th round, that means you only have three or four backup QB/RB/WR/TE depending whether or not you have also...
