... Panthers' running back DeAngelo Williams was placed on injured reserve this week, as he is still ailing from a sprained foot that caused him to miss the last three games.

His future with the Panthers is now in jeopardy.

Williams will be a free agent in 2011, and to this point, he and agent Jimmy Sexton have had no talks with the team about re-signing the 27 year-old.

At 1-8 and with head coach John Fox in the last year of his contract, personnel decisions will likely be put off until a new head coach is named in the offseason. Panthers general manager Marty Hurney has reportedly not spoken with any pending free agents to this point...
