They were getting a young gunslinger who could possibly turn this offense into a top one in the NFC.
That didn't pan out to well for the Bears.
In fact, Cutler didn't play up to potential, bringing out the criticism almost every week.
Many things could have attributed to Cutler's ineptitude, including coaching and skill on the offensive side of the ball.
In Denver, Cutler was a solid quarterback.
Although, he never reached the post-season, he was a strong foundation for a young Bronco's team.
A team that also had a star wide receiver in Brandon Marshall.
Something that the Bears lack; a lack that's killing the Bears.
