The next day, Saban notified Alabama AD Mal Moore that he would accept the offer, and the Tide nation went crazy.

The Crimson Tide had not enjoyed much success since Gene Stallings left, and there was a constant rotation of new coaches in town.  The football program had suffered through bad coaching, probation, bad recruiting, and little depth.

It is now March 2010, which means Saban has been the Head Coach for three years. The Tide now has some third-string players that could start for other SEC team...
