The Petros and Money show noted that the WFNI report has not been confirmed by any media sources, or any of the above schools.

WFNI staff contacted Bleacher Report to confirm that the issue was discussed on air at WFNI, but "the idea was scoffed at on air and [never really given] any credence." WFNI staff has not disclosed to Bleacher Report where they initially heard the report that Notre Dame, Rutgers, Maryland and Syracuse could be Big Ten bound.
