We know now is his gut that he wants to come back and coach on the Gator sidelines. Meyer will indeed take an indefinite leave of absence.
Earlier today, it was reported that a temporary leave of absence was an option, and may make the most sense for Meyer in this situation. Stepping away before the bowl game, and staying away until next season would give Meyer a slight break from the stress he is currently under.
