Coach Richt could not be reached for comment this morning, but it is believed that he had already cleared out his office. In a related story, Coach Richt has removed his name from the list of candidates interested in the head coaching job at Little Rock Community college.

The Dawg nation sits in stunned silence today. Most Dawg fans anticipated Richt's removal after the travesty of an 8-5 season. Many of the Athens faithful sighted a need to return to the glory days of Georgia football.
