... that we are a full month into the season we can now begin to see who the pretenders and contenders are in college football.

With all the passion and blind enthusiasm in college sports, it's easy to fall in love with certain players.  Sometimes though the expectations and the performance do not always match.

They can range from pre-season favorites who have failed to pan out to new stars that are still unproven.

Regardless of the reason, you will see a common trend in the players.  Looks like fans and the media love their stars on offense.
