... Texas is assembling what might be the best recruiting class head coach Mack Brown has ever put together.

They've brought in top talent at nearly every position and have just a few more pieces to consider before calling it a night and closing the books on their 2011 class. 

Texas has 22 players committed so far while the magic number is 25. That's the number of prospects expected to be brought on board, leaving just three open spaces to fill out the year.

The Longhorns are in search of another running back, a tight end, and possibly, a defensive end.
