Sure, there was a coaching change, two under .500 seasons, and a few heartbreaking losses; but Tennessee played their guts out the entire decade as is customary on Rocky Top. The Vols did play for an SEC title three times, while winning or tying for the SEC East four times. The Vols did beat Alabama five times, Georgia four times, Florida three times, and Kentucky every time. There was no Peyton, but there was Erik, Rick, and Casey.
