... to drag on and we inch our way towards the opening of fall camps in the SEC, I thought I'd offer my thoughts on some of the campus happenings from the last week or so.

 

At Alabama receiver Chris Jackson has announced he'll be transferring. There are rumors that he's been in contact with coaches at Georgia Tech. Jackson originally committed to the Yellow Jackets only to renege after Paul Johnson was hired as Head Coach. Jackson played in 12 games for Alabama last year as a starter on special teams.
