If you thought last week's Alabama win over Ole Miss was boring, you may not enjoy this one either.
Two great defenses may make this a low scoring affair, but in the end, the Gamecocks will do little more than be the next sacrificial offering for Alabama as they hope to continue their climb to the top of the NCAA mountain.
Against less than top quality opponents, South Carolina has beaten no one in the Top 25, and have averaged 27 points a game. However, the majority of those points came in a loss to Georgia 41-37, who is 3-3, and in wins over creme puffs Florida Atlantic 38-16, and South Carolina State 38-14.
