The 5'10, 169 lb. commit is a very solid capture for the team at South Bend. He is not considered a elite prospect, but he is considered a very good athlete.
He has good speed, nice ball skills, and is a quick, smooth and fluid tackler who is able to bring down players in the open field. He has make up speed and already has a good understanding of how to position himself between the ball and the player.
Scouts have said that he has an above average ability to read the quarterback and has the quickness to make up for any bad angles, although he is known to take good angles to the ball carrier.
