Kenny McKinley, No. 11, died on September 20th, 2010.
McKinley was more then just a player, and more then just a Gamecock record holder. His stats are less meaningful then the person he was off the field.
This tragedy shows again that these players are just human. The stress that these players are put through is immense. No one would have seen this coming from McKinley.
In an era of divas, pre-Madonnas, and selfish players, in the era of lockouts and NCAA investigations, McKinley was one of the hardest working players in the history of South Carolina's program.
