... Points galore. It's the spread offense, and it's taken the world of college football by storm over the past decade. While some teams base it more around a high-octane passing attack, while others have a wearying running game, there's no denying its ability to wear a defense out. When executed properly, that is. Here's a sampling of 10 teams around the country using some variety of the spread. Some teams are lousy at it, some are in a transition, some are already great. Sadly, we start with my soon-to-be alma mater.
