... what may have been the most confusing few days in a single recruitment, five-star defensive end Stephon Tuitt has given his pledge back to Brian Kelly and the Fighting Irish according to Irish Sports Daily.

Tuitt, ranked among many recruiting services as a top pass-rusher, was originally an Irish verbal before an official to Georgia Tech last weekend. After feeling "comfortable" with the school, Tuitt and his teammate Demontevious Smith decided Georgia Tech was the place they wanted to be.

However, Notre Dame defensive coordinator Bob Diaco wasn't ready to give up just yet, as he showed in the recruitment of another five-star, Aaron Lynch, last week.
