Years ago, this would have been a monster matchup between two powers and while it's still a big time matchup, the two programs aren't exactly thriving right now. The Hurricanes just fired their coach and lost to Virginia and South Florida this year. The U isn't used to seasons like that.

Notre Dame lost to Tulsa earlier this year but did beat rival USC and I think the Fighting Irish will win this game. There's just too much going on around Miami right now and the Fighting Irish have the tools to win this game and might win it easily.
