Imagine the year is 1925 and you are on a train bound from Tuscaloosa, Al to Pasadena, Ca. On that train is the University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team.

In the aisle you are having to push your way past football players like Johnny Mack Brown and Coaches like Wallace Wade. 

The Crimson Tide is on its way to play the highly regarded University of Washington in the 1926 Rose Bowl . Up until this point college football in the South was pretty much a joke in the eyes of the rest of the nation.
