The Tigers improve to 6-0 on the season, only the second time the Tigers have been 6-0 under head coach Gary Pinkel. Pinkel had been under fire for some off the field issues and for what some fans considered a down year in 2009 for Mizzou, although the Tigers did post an 8-5 record.

Mizzou’s defense continued to play well, racking up seven sacks of Aggie QB Jerrod Johnson, who was a preseason pick for Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.
