The team failed almost all expectations placed on them from two years ago, when the Hoosiers made their first bowl game in 14 years.
This season is a very important one for the program for three reasons:
1. This is Bill Lynch's final season with his current contract (he has two years remaining). Either he will be fired after a failed year or given an extension.
