I respect the guy for everything he represents as a student-athlete in a time when that phrase is more a concept than a reality.

In watching his swan song Saturday afternoon, I couldn't help but get annoyed by the constant and never ending doting laid on Tebow from the opening kick to the end of the game by CBS announcers Vern Lundquist and his partner Gary Daniels.

I understand there is more pomp and circumstance that surrounds the final game of one of the nation's biggest players, but come on. These guys needed a drool cup because every word showered the viewers with constant praise for Tebow.
