Newton has all but locked this race up, but any more slip-ups in the public eye could be his undoing.
Newton has been everything for the Tigers, however. His leadership gives hope to everyone on the team, as they believe he will do whatever it takes to will the team to victory. Newton is too gifted and has performed too well not to be recognized as the Heisman winner.
Still, it is never a one-man race for the Heisman. There is always somebody creeping up. Denard Robinson has placed himself back at the front of the race with a fantastic game against Wisconsin.
