This will be Virginia Tech's second attempt this season to take down a Top 25 team after falling 34-24 against No. 5 Alabama in week one.
The Hokies bounced back last week with a 52-10 beat down of Marshall. While he didn't catch a pass in the game against Marshall, tight end Sam Wheeler was given some credit for his blocking, which helped the run game improve.
Wheeler is back on the field after his rehab from surgery for a torn ACL. The production of freshman running back David Wilson certainly is a big help as well. Wilson rushed for 165 yards on 12 carries (13.75-yard average).
