Today, Evans returned to the practice field in full pads ready to hit.
During practice, the Virginia Tech back went down with a season ending ACL tear on a simple cut while running a route.
Evans was the ACC's second leading rusher last year with 1,265 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns as a freshman. The young runner will be missed by the Hokies who need a consistent back to compliment Tyrod Taylor at quarterback.
