It was not a great week for the Buffs, as two more recruits from the Class of 2009, already in Boulder for offseason workouts, were sent home. Defensive tackle Edward Nuckols and quarterback/athlete Josh Moten have both been denied eligibility by the NCAA Clearinghouse.

Moten may still make it to the fall roster, as his transcripts are still under review, but Nuckols must “tend to academic matters” to become eligible. He will likely take the same grey-shirt route being taken by fellow 2009 recruit, offensive lineman Shaun Simon.
