The recent news of his arrest and the multiple charges he incurred during an ill-fated trip to South Georgia over the weekend has placed Mettenberger decidedly behind Murray in the race—no matter what he does from here on out. 

Of course, Logan Gray could always be an x-factor and there is still no talk as to what this will mean for Hutson Mason's reps at the spot.

However, I have stated before and will do so again, Logan Gray is not going to be the starter for the Georgia Bulldogs. I believe that the shot he has been given is simply out of respect from the coaching staff, but this is truly now Aaron Murray's job to lose.
