Well everything went right for the Eagles in thier home opener last night. The Eagles beat Campbellsville 38-10.

Junior wide receiver Doug Belk hauled in four receptions for 82 yards and tied a school record with three touchdown receptions.

Carson-Newman coach had this to say following the victory. "A win is sweet and we're grateful for the scoreboard coming out right.

"We really got some guys trying hard but we made it hard on ourselves at times."
