The Panthers’ drop from the top 25 after their week one loss to Utah was nothing short of insanity. An overtime loss to the Utes, on their home field no less, is nothing to get bent out of shape over, but somehow the college football world has already written Pittsburgh off.
Pittsburgh is still the most talented team in this league, and with their conference brethren looking more and more mediocre by the day, there’s no reason to think they’re no longer the favorites.
