Roethlisberger had just thrown a 22-yard touchdown pass to Emmanuel Sanders to put Pittsburgh up 21-3. As he ran downfield to celebrate, he bumped into Seymour, who turned and smacked the quarterback with an open hand.
Seymour immediately drew a flag and was ejected from the game. Afterwards, he said he wasn't sure why he'd hit Roethlisberger, and said that he couldn't remember the quarterback saying anything to set him off.
Big Ben was stunned after the game, saying he wasn't expecting Seymour to hit him like that. Steelers' head coach Mike Tomlin said after the game that his opinion of Seymour didn't change,...
