... Got Here: Up until this Saturday, the Utah Utes seemed like true contenders for the BCS National Championship. They plowed through every team on their schedule, and yesterday's game would determine which non-BCS school would have the best shot at competing for the national title.

Why No. 12: Well, it ain't Utah.

The Utes got their butts handed to them by the No. 3 TCU Horned Frogs in a 47-7 showdown that left most of us feeling very sorry for the home team.

Staying Power: Unfortunately, TCU was the toughest team on the Utes' schedule. TCU has one of the best teams in college football, but Utah won't meet another opponent even close to the Frogs' caliber this season.
