The BCS constantly ask the MWC what they would have if the “BCS didn’t exist” or if the “BCS were to go away” but let’s get one thing clear: The BCS isn’t going away, the Big Six reap far more revenue than the small five with the BCS, and the BCS has only been a “friend” because Congress has made them.
In 2003, Congress held hearings on the BCS asking the same questions that it did this year: is it fair, and is it exclusionary. It must be noted that there wasn’t one senator fighting for his constituents—it was a full Judiciary Committee...
