Both teams are coming off solid victories and will look to start conference play with another win to remain unbeaten in the perennially ultra competitive SEC.

In Week 1 Auburn defeated Arkansas State 52-26. Junior QB Cameron Newton, a Florida transfer, began his Tiger career by amassing 257 total yards and five total scores. Newton showed why he was coveted by Florida out of high school by throwing for 186 yards and rushing for 171 yards, including a 71-yard touchdown run.
