It also marks the 29th game in a row that the Tide has not allowed a rusher a 100 yard game, and last night Alabama held Miss. State to about half it's season average in rushing.
This is the year Alabama will have to win the SEC Championship to preserve it's record of winning at least one in every decade since a champion has been named. This is certainly proving to be an important year for the history books.
