SEC Featured Columnist, Joel Barker here for the next three-plus hours covering one of the oldest rivalries in the south. This is the 93rd meeting between Tennessee and Alabama since 1901. 

It has been a rivalry of streaks for the most part. Alabama won 11 straight from 1971-81. Tennessee won the next four, then Alabama didn't lose to Tennessee for nine years. The Vols won every game in the series from '95-02. After winning two games between '03 and '06, Alabama comes into tonight's game with a three game winning streak over the Vols.
