The Tide dipped into the Florida talent pool once again, getting a commitment from defensive back Ha'sean Clinton-Dix, a five-star prospect living in the Orlando. He gave his commitment to head coach Nick Saban while visiting Tuscaloosa on A-Day.
As a junior, Clinton-Dix accumulated 93 tackles, nine pass break-ups, and three interceptions. Thirteen of the recorded tackles were for loss. He is the No. 1 safety prospect in the nation and the fifth best prospect overall.
Clinton-Dix has been leaning toward the Tide for some time. The visit tipped the scales enough for him to take the plunge.
