... the ski jump. The ski jump is a spectacular event to watch as the jumpers ski down the short slope before shooting into the sky. Despite the United States of America having this little mountain range known as The Rockies, not one American managed to qualify fo the medal round on Day Two in Vancouver. Europe traditionally has dominated the skiing events, but this latest round of futility deserves a little closer look. There is no good reason why the United States shouldn't have at least qualified for the medal round given the resources our country has to work with.
