Again, no surprises in Happy Valley. Penn State was able to put up 31 on Temple and take a 31-6 victory. I still feel we could have scored more, but the running game greatly improved, as I was stressing after seeing the Akron and Syracuse games. Time to break it all ...Published on: 19th September, 2009
The last time the Nittany Lions took on the Owls was last year when they handled them very nicely, winning 45-3. The way PSU has played the last couple games, I wouldn't expect that high a score though. Penn State has a dominating 34-3-1 record vs. Temple. Time to break it all ...Published on: 15th September, 2009
Week 2 was a week of drama-filled, high-scoring games. Along with a huge upset that will change the college football path for the 2009 season. The last time the Nittany Lions squared off with 'Cuse they whooped them 55-13 in the Carrier Dome. I think we will see the same results tomorrow. The last time the Nittany Lions played the Zips was in 2006 when they won 34-16. Penn State has only played the Zips three times in their history, and they are 3-0 overall against Akron. I see nothing different in this game. So, let's break it all down. Opponent: Akron Zips (0-0) When: ...Published on: 25th August, 2009
Here are my predictions for the 2009 Penn State football season: Sept. 5 vs. Akron: W 38-10This one is obviously going to be an easy one for the Nittany Lions, unless Akron pulls off an Appalachian State, which is highly unlikely. Evan Royster should be able to put up some ...Published on: 21st August, 2009
The brightest spot for the Penn State defense is obviously Sean Lee returning. But, will some of the defenses weaknesses like the secondary override the strengths like Sean Lee and Jared Odrick? Just like on offense, Penn State was also the No. 1 overall defense in the Big Ten with only 12.4 points ...Published on: 19th August, 2009
Last season, Penn State was No. 1 in the Big Ten in points scored a game with 40.2 and average yards gained a game with 452.2 yards. They also had the best third down conversion percentage with 52.2. But, this year could be very different for their offense with the loss of the big three wide ...
