Running back Marion Barber suffered a quad strain during his 35-yard run seen in the picture. Barber was seen grabbing his leg at the end of the run before falling on the ground, and an MRI on Monday confirmed the strain.
It's too early to tell if Barber can play this week, but if he can't expect Tashard Choice and Felix Jones to take over the running game with Choice being the guy for plays in the middle.
The Cowboys also signed running back Chauncey Washington to their practice squad. Washington played in six games last year for the Jacksonville Jaguars and could be added to the active roster if Barber doesn't play on Monday night against the Carolina Panthers.
