Jim Tressel was able to use his conservative gameplan as the Buckeyes kept the game close. There are no moral victories and this was a game the Buckeyes could have won. Terrelle Pryor made some big plays, but freshman Matt Barkley looked like John Elway on the final drive for USC. The Buckeye defense was able to keep Joe McKnight in check. Pete Carroll showed a lot of faith in Barkley and was rewarded with a HUGE BCS regular season playoff win.
