2011 NFL Mock Draft: Is No. 4 A Lock To Be An Offensive Weapon?

Article By on 24th February, 2011

2011 NFL Mock Draft selects A.J. Green As The Newest Bengal

He’s big, he’s fast, he’s dynamic; he’s the next big thing.

A.J. Green (my No. 2 rated player) is the real deal at wide receiver. 6’4″, 205-pounds; Green has already developed a veteran-like route running savvy, knows how to get open, can make the most difficult catch look routine and has the potential to be the best player in the entire Draft.

Cincinnati is expected to look like a shell of it’s former offense (Ocho and Owens likely gone, Palmer wants a trade or will retire and Benson could hit the road) and they need a weapon to help whoever else is playing with him.

IF Carson Palmer is serious than the Bengals could certainly entertain the possibility of a quarterback here, especially if Newton is available, but wide receiver is the top priority right now.

A.J. Green has No. 1 overall potential and could very likely find himself selected before this.
