If that's the case, recent history shows that the Patriots could come out on the short end of the stick. They've struggled famously on the road, especially late in games, over the past year and three games. One of those games, incidentally, was against Miami in which the Dolphins came out on top with a one-point victory on a Dan Carpenter field goal with under a minute remaining.
