The incident came after a poor run by Jacobs in the third quarter in which he tried to dance around defenders and was consequently benched by Tom Coughlin for the remainder of the game.

Jacobs made his way towards the sidelines and attempted to hurl his helmet at the bench in frustration.  However, according to Jacobs, the helmet slipped through his fingers and soared 10 rows into the stands at Lucas Oil Stad...
